I traveled from Canada for my mother’s cataract (Chitta Motia) surgery at Mahadev Netralaya eye hospital and I must say we had an excellent experience. We opted for a multifocal lens, and the surgery went smoothly without any complications. My mother’s vision improved and she did not need glasses for distant as well as for reading. I had my Dad’s cataract surgery, who is 70 year old with some medical problems. Dr Ashok and team dealt with great compassion and care, can’t sing enough praises of him and his team. He is such an amazing surgeon with God gifted hands and kind heart. I was reassured and at peace knowing we are in good hands. My dad had his surgery at Mahadev Netralaya, he had multifocal lens. Surgery was quick and went very well. Dr Ashok was open and honest with the operative options and types of lenses available including cost etc. Post operatively there were proper instructions given about dos and don’t s which are evidence based (science) rather than perceived notions. 4 weeks down the line my Dad’s vision is perfect, he doesn’t need any glasses.
